Only Jesus was perfect, so I don't believe that we have to accept absolutely everything about a person – even if they have a wonderful ministry. There may be more than one area where no-one has rightly advised 'that doesn't seem right'. It takes mature / objective discernment which I recognised with Azusa Street. Sorry to be controversial here because I like Heidi Baker and her ministry, but I am not convinced about the shaking head / spontaneous words uttered – which she has often said she can't control. One of the fruits of the Holy Spirit is self control and the Holy Spirit doesn't impel us to do anything. I also struggle to understand the public display benefits. I'm not saying that it's not from God, I'm just saying that I'm not convinced. That doesn't mean I'm dismissing her as a person or her ministry either. Not one of us is perfect.

amen salt. i've hadda put an addendum in a vid b4 cuz my revelation changed on the subject... i've hadda throw out teachings i later realized had past cult contamination in it... i've had a person w/ kunda-weenie prayer over me from time to time b 4 & encourage me to raise my hands, do this, do that & i did to appease until the Lord gave me a dream to show me the revelation to match why i felt something wasn't quite right. it's just a learning walk & can't throw baby out w/ the bathwater, but take the good & spit out the bones... grow and learn. and ya, be gracious to one another during it. i haven't seen the heidi 'manifestation'... it must b in that vid so dunno what the H.S. within would impress.

I have seen HB in a weekend conference in Birmingham in the summer of 2012. I would agree that her fruit appears good. In summary she is an apostle in areas where people are lost. She disciples people who spread the gospel, love in a practical way and operate in signs and wonders. The areas where she has ministered are now predominantly Christian. In her talk there were manifestations which looked very similar to Tourette Syndrome. I did not find these to be off putting. I'm not sure of the origin but I am sure of the origin of her fruit which I am instructed to examine. If she converts to Chrislam or starts building mansions for herself I'll reconsider because I do know where the origin of these things would be. I'm not really sure where the need to put people on pedestals or indeed to knock them off comes from. None of us is perfect and God delights in using the broken; liars, drunks, the disobedient, murderous adulterers, the weak, the proud; people like Abraham, Noah, Samson, David, Gideon and Peter. Salt is right, Jesus is the only perfect person to have walked this earth. He is always our focus and He gives each of us our own ministry and of course, even when we are listening and obedient there will be people who tell us we've got it wrong just like they did to Moses and Paul or accuse us of doing evil like the Pharisees did to Jesus. The good news is that you, I and Heidi will not be judged by men; we will be judged by Jesus. As for me, I bless Heidi and trust that the Lord will guide her, knowing that she is not perfect but that Jesus is. I also pray that He will guide me in the full knowledge that I am a work in progress.
