The info wars are in high gear these days. With every bad economic data report the spin doctors work frantically to ease its severity to the public. CNN, MSNBC and the rest of the lame stream media just fall in line and report whatever the Fed’s want them to report. Last week the jobs data came in and it was well below the forecasted amount by about 75,000 jobs. At first this sent the markets into a tail spin. But by Friday afternoon all was well because although new jobs was created at a much slower pace, the good old unemployment numbers stayed at 5.1%.
When talking about unemployment numbers you first must figure out which method they are using to come up with their number. The typical method in today’s economic environment is called the U3 method. The U3 method has adopted the European model which uses the ILO standard of figuring out how many people in the workforce are out of work. Every month 40,000 people are surveyed and from their answers an averaged figure is computed. Viola, today we have 5.1% unemployment!
A more accurate method, although still not correct, is the U6 method. the U6 method takes all the CLAIMS from the month and adds the people working part time that want to work full time. This leaves out those who have given up on looking for work and those that no longer receive benefits. Today that number stands at 10%. This is double the figure the media and Feds use.
I understand that good old fashion arithmatic is no longer used in this country, thank you common core, but if we were to use the number of American’s that are of working age (16 yrs and older) and divide that by those of that age wanting to work but not finding work (94,610,000) we come out with a figure of just under 23%. The highest recorded unemployment number ever recorded in the history of the United States of America was during the great depression at 21%.
While the media and Washington continue to tell us that the economy is growing and we are on a path to prosperity, only 75% of American’s can find work. With the new TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership) agreement reached, the number of Americans working is sure to decrease, possibly to 60% or even 50%. The TPP agreement will snatch up what remaining manufacturing jobs we have and will decimate the agricultural sector. Just think, if you buy all your food from a store, most of it will now come from China, Vietnam and Thiland. Yummy!!!! Understand, as long as the food entering into the US has the country of origin there is no USDA inspection of the food!!! Mmmmmm, shrimp feed on pig feces!!!!
The other media war being waged at this time is Russia pushing the United States out of the Middle East. Most western media reports that Russia is bombing groups that are opposed to Assad in Syria not ISIS. Groups that the US have been training to topple the Assad regime. The Eastern media reports that Russia is making gains against ISIS and have done more in 1 week than the US has done in a year. Then this past week we hear that the US is pulling the plug on a $500 million program that trained 1, ONE fighter in Syria. I wouldn’t have a problem with this if they trained John Rambo. But I doubt it. Who are we to believe?
?
While the US sits back and bashes Russia for their aggression in Syria, most of the Middle East and parts of Europe are now in support of Russia’s efforts in Syria. This is primarily because the Obama administration seeks to replace Assad’s regime with the Muslim Brotherhood as they did in Egypt and Libya, which was a major failure. See Assad allows the Coptic Christians to freely worship in Syria. The Muslim Brotherhood seeks to enforce the brutality of sharia law.
Question everything!!!
