dream had 7-19-2017...
I was at a park and there was a car show going on. I saw people flying kites. This was all going on next to a health clinic & my mom was talking about a vaccination rolling out tomorrow & that she was thinking about going & getting it. The car show ended and so we went home but then I walked back with my youngest son to the health clinic to get more info about whatever this vaccine was. As we walked in the door there was a long line but I walked up the left side just enough to read a big poster they had up that gave vaccine info. It was for h1n1 virus & there were 2 boxed options. Listed on the left it said it was 100 dollars (it was 100-something but I didn't catch the exact #) & then on the right side it said, "if it didn’t ‘take’ "it was 50-something (half that amount). END
interp notes:
In reality my parents do go to car shows on a regular basis so I felt like this is a time indicator 'now' thing. Kite make me think of children but I also think about that goofy idiom: "Go fly a kite!", which something that you say in order to tell someone who is annoying you to go away Go fly a kite! Honestly these days I'm NOT pro-vaccinations so that may be my bias coming out there. It's interesting how I was right there but went home & then decided to go back to investigate. Like maybe I can't stop 'my mom' depicted in the dream from getting the vaccination but I care so I go research about it.
After I woke up I had to look up what the h1n1 virus was, because I didn't remember.... it is Swine Flu. It isn't clear if the people are camping out to get the vaccine the next day or that clinic was just busy and open late (most car shows are over w/ early evening). I brought my son with me (connection to youth of kite?? I dunno, is this vaccine a concern for children? dunno).
But the disturbing thing is the poster and I feel it's talking about the vaccine beginning to become ineffective. I don't think the solution is to take the same thing again if it didn't 'take' the first time, LOL. But perhaps research is going in circles & maybe unable to keep up?
anyways....sharing.
