I had to alter this because the moon was spotted a day later than projected so the calendar attachment shows the current hebrew calendar... and this is just another reason why we can know the season, but not the day nor hour---pretty cool!(Attached 2013 calendar image from: www.homeworship101.com) In order to understand the significance of the biblical feasts, we must comprehend their purpose and timing. The most complete description of the feasts is found in Leviticus 23. Each of the feasts have both a historic and prophetic significance. They celebrate a historical event in Israel's past, but also are a prophecy of future events which have been, or will be, fulfilled. The first four feasts were fulfilled by Jesus Christ during the actual celebration of those feast days. The last three will be fulfilled at His second coming. nice page w/ brief overview video: endtimepilgrim.org/jewishfeasts.htmI know this isn't new to many but you can post interesting links & such regarding it all in this thread. And of course some of the interesting alignments w/ feast days coming up: It is said.. (I don't have a reference either... but maybe noted historically?): Lunar Eclipse = bad omen for Israel Blood Moon = sword coming Solar Eclipse = bad omen for the world Attachments:
