so been milking the excess since we only have one kid.... have been sneaking the milk into recipe everything & yesterday made our first batch of yogurt! amazing... in-between reg. & greek in texture & the flavor was better than any store bought 'plain'.... it really tasted 'vanilla' to me. next will be cheese.... on a side note... our little minnie (kid) can now jump up on the hay feeder....enjoys catapulting from stingray's back while he's milking her mama and has somehow managed to pee on my eldest son from being up on top of something... and it was said that my nephew has never laughed (from seeing that)....so hard in his life. oh what fun we have on the farm

it had an error on the pg for me but i know it's gotta b this one: hubby lovvvvves watching it. hubby IS making cheese RT NOW!!!!! it's hanging up in cheesecloth drip drying. yesterday was another butcher day (rabbits) and hurry up & get ready for the blizzard that is here today. also had a sick mommy-bunny so lots of prayer and extra attention on her. i kinda get the 'farm doctor' hat around here... cleaned a bunny for ear mites this morn (yuk!) our female duck is quite the egg layer now... we do have lots of eggs now so family gets a bonus and i find recipes w/ lots of them in it to use up. when i collected eggs...thought i was going nuts....i thought i heard a seagull...then i heard another & looked up to see a flock of them above flying in this blizzard.... very unusual for this area they were a bit off course. drew had a nightmare about a tsunami that kept him and me up last night.... 3rd time he's had it in about 4 years & it really rattles his cage. i had 2 with spiders in them (witchcraft)...but nothing bad for me, in the one i paralyzed a spider...so geez, back off enemy & go to Jesus! i am def. going to have to nap or rest today.

About those goats ... Tree climbing Goats of Morocco. The goats climb them because they like to eat the fruit of the Argan tree, which is similar to an olive. Farmers actually follow the herds of goats as they move from tree to tree. Not because it is so strange to see goats in trees and the farmers like to point and stare, but because the fruit of the tree has a nut inside, which the goats can’t digest, so they spit it up or excrete it which the farmers collect. The nut contains 1-3 kernels, which can be ground to make argan oil used in cooking and cosmetics. This oil has been collected by the people of the region for hundreds of years, but like many wild and useful things these days, the argan tree is slowly disappearing due to over-harvesting for the tree’s wood and overgrazing by goats.
