"Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us".
Many of us have heard these words before (probably a great number of times). It is taken from what we like to call "The Lord's Prayer". Sadly, however, people remain unaware of the meaning behind them and/or refuse to obey the commandments (they are not suggestions!) of the Lord. The consequence becomes no deliverance and no salvation.
Let's look at some of the Bible passages which prove this:
A clear pattern can be found throughout scripture on the importance of forgiveness. If we choose not to forgive others, God chooses not to forgive us. It is that simple. There is no shortcut that anyone can take around that. Thankfully, our God is gracious enough to forgive us if we forgive others, even if we are undeserving (technically speaking, we are ALL undeserving because God does not owe us anything). Forgiving others is not saying that they are right! When God forgives us, does He claim that we are right? Of course not! Forgiving is simply letting go of any anger/resentment and forgetting any debts that someone owes us. Is it really that hard to do? Are we really going to be so stubborn as to not do something so simple? Is it really worth trading our forgiveness for somebody else's unforgiveness?
We must stop allowing our wickedness to take away from the wonderful things that God has planned for us! (Jeremiah 5:25: Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you)
Below is a video for anyone who would like to take the next step forward and let go of their unforgiveness.
God bless,
- Jake

Ephesians 4:32 - And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Mark 11:25: And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Matthew 6:12: And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. *The original passage from what we like to call "The Lord's Prayer"*
Matthew 6:14: For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
Matthew 6:15: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Matthew 6:15: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
