Jim Richards describes some of the abuse he experienced as a child / young person and how this effected him. He explains how he used a process of not only speaking scripture, but meditating on / studying it and praying with it until the 'heart is convinced' that it is truly the truth. The Scripture becomes written on the heart when it becomes powerful. He now has a ministry to help others in the same way. Some strongholds are immediately shattered and others seem to take longer.

watched 2nd... this is what i get to 'see' when people write me... what they meditate and churn on (from out of the mouth the depth of the heart speaks). I highlight it, point out the negative and say 'this is the problem, this is what you are doing'. it's this very act of cycling thru it over & over instead of giving it to Jesus (taking it captive) and then feeding on the truth of the word...which is the only way out. that's y journalling is so important, cuz unless one is always 'writing me'...they aren't getting to really seeeeeee what's been spinning in the mind & so they think they are 'just fine, & trying everything'. taking thoughts captive is extremely hard at first because one has went thru their whole life thinking all those thoughts are normal and that entertaining or 'meditating' on things is normal. the enemy has had all this time to train and build the cage, but the only way we can know there is MORE is by reading about it in the Word & if we meditate on that.... so it's more real than all the 'voices'....then that's where the total healing is. using a voice recorder alllllll day....pen and paper alllllll day..... it is some 'work'. but gradually we get quicker & quicker at catching the enemy in the act. this vid. is a great explanation, esp for you left brained peeps out there... like opening the back of an old clock to see how it all fits together. good find salt

I wish I could like your comment above more than once HG. Many desire the quick fix /exciting /easy stuff only which on it's own does not always help them / others in the long run
