ok i heard about a mutual fund company that aims to invest in only solidly moral industries and companies. I LOVE IT!!! so i just checked out the website and hey have about 12 funds listed it looks like and i checked them and the tickers are all easy to find on my trading platform site. they seem to be doing just as well as anything else right now so im considering switching over and buying up some of their stuff sooner or later. they have an israel fund which is great cuz i love investing in israel just cuz its the promise land. anyway those of you who mite consider scrapping the 401k and doing it yourself mite be interested in this. its called the timothy plan.

it struck me today why i havent ever been a good investor dispite having learned alot about markets and financial products and how it all interconnects. investing successfully requires going with todays trend for a certain portion of the time and then moving when the trend moves or just getting out when youve made some money and finding a new trend. but I'm a guy who looks at everything years down the road, and i usually have no clue whats going on right now, what the trends are and so on. lol anyway im getting out of the whole investing thing for the most part i think. im gonna keep a lil of my kids money in different stuff but im going to do different stuff and let the pros have it on the investing stuff.
