had a healthy pair of twin lambs bout a week and a half ago, now the next ewe to have her lambs is almost ready. but she has gotten skinny and weak and now she can't even walk. so we got her in the jug and called the vet, 500 dollar house call for a 100 dollar sheep is a no go, so asked what we can do. he said most likely its gestational something something ( low calcium). so he said crush up some tums with calcium and mix with honey and bottle feed her every few hours with that little mixture. 10 dollar solution sounds better. so been bottle feeding her some nutritious tums and honey and she likes it. now just gotta get her through to labor and she should recover after that. i hope it works cuz she lost her lambs to a violent donkey attack just after they were born last year. and now this. but if she gets through i bet she won't be nearly as skiddish with me as she has been since we got her. good news is i got a new veterinary trick in my bag. those come in super handy!
