I asked God a couple of weeks ago what to pray for - I got one word - Revival. I was listening to a message today from a church in Arizona and the pastor said that he sees a coming deliverance revival in which many people will get delivered. I don't hear revival mentioned very often. I believe this is the last hope for America. I believe that the Lord is calling us to pray for revival for this country. No program, no church, no man or woman, no elected official or anything else can help our country except if God chooses to spare us from his wrath. I think in order for that to happen we need revival. We need the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Satan's 40 year plan for America is getting close to completion - increase the divorce rate, water down the church, bring false prophets, strengthen the gay and lesbian community, attack the largest city in the U.S. (911 attack), bring witchcraft into schools thru magic like Harry Potter. In the 1970's Satan could not touch the U.S. That's how strong the Christian community was in this country. So he came up with a plan and released millions of evil spirits, many to seduce and deceive believers and to bring dissatisfaction, especially to married Christians. His plan has worked very well.
I keep getting a bad feeling about Putin. I don't like what I see and hear. Its scary...keep your eyes on him and please pray for revival in the U.S. !

Interesting on many fronts - only one of which is that the hq of the Southern Baptist International Mission Board is located about 10 minutes from our house and I have been there a few times !!
I respect the Chinese Christian church a lot...they have faced a lot of trials and tribulations yet they continue to grow and they will not be moved. They will be a church that will stand to the end and a people that will stand to the end.
I have often heard that the house church movement is where its gonna really happen in the U.S. Hopefully we will see that soon.
When revival has hit the U.S. in the past, it has taken Satan a long time to quench it - 100 to 125 years in previous revival movements.
I hate to say it but we need some type of persecution to wake up the church. I was thinking this morning during my quiet time that I don't know really any Christians right now who I would say are "on fire" for the Lord except for one guy in Ohio and Freedom 1. Three things I look for when someone claims to follow Christ are: Love, compassion, and passion. I see very little of that among the body of believers that I know.
Two women in my life have continually pointed me to Jesus. One was a young college age girl that I was friends with and took to church for a couple of years in the early 90's. Her life was all about serving the Lord and sharing the Gospel. I was a new Christian and she just kept saying "follow Jesus' - "learn about Jesus" - I can still hear her voice encouraging me to follow the Lord.
The other is Freedom 1. - She pushes me to Jesus and the word. More than anyone else in my life the past several months, which have been extremely difficult. There were times I didn't know if I would make it or not. She constantly encouraged, reached out, shared and pointed me to Jesus. For that I am extremely grateful.

Yeah – history certainly shows that true Christianity grows in times of persecution and it tests those who already call themselves Christians. It has the potential to be like a refining fire, humbling, forcing reliance on / trust in God – rather than circumstances and people (all of whom we are bound to be let by down at some stage because we are all imperfect as are our perspectives). Meanwhile, 'sitting on the fence' becomes very difficult / painful – impossible even.
