Would Fighting the Sunni caliphate help Israel (or us)?

David Rubin is former mayor of Shiloh, Israel. In his article he says ...
" The Shiites and Sunnis are both jihadist and seek the destruction of Judeo-Christian civilization, so what is the purpose of reengaging and sending troops or any kind of support to either of them? Let the Sunnis and Shiites fight it out—and may they both lose. As they are both enemies of the United States, the West, and Israel"
- I think the mayor has a good point. " .. and may they both lose". LOL. I agree.
The Sunnis are setting up an Evil Islamic caliphate in the middle east w /sharia law.
(as shown in the article Stingray posted).
Should the U.S. be supporting them? Of course not.
( I'm not saying not to take out weapons and supplies that could be used in terrorism against the West or Israel .. if it's sitting out where we can see them).
On the other hand if we fight the Sunnis .. we will be supporting their enemy 'the Shiite's
.. which make up 2/3 of Iraq and all of IRAN (Persia) ... yes, the same Persia that is one of the leading nations that will come against Israel in the Israel/Magog war in Ez. 38).
Should we be supporting Persia by fighting the Sunni caliphate army ?
(Duh!)
(BTW .. Persia (Iran) can successfully keep the U. S. out of any Iran/Israel war once they complete building their nukes that can hit the U.S.)
Both factions of Islam HATE us ( "the big satan" ..and Israel "the little satan")
Trying to give Iraqis a chance at freedom thru democracy has been 'a noble effort' with much sacrifice by brave soldiers .. but in the end, even if we sent a million soldiers and a zillion drones and bombs over there .. it just can't work .. not with constant indoctrination of these peoples by their Islamic jihadist clerics.
Only the gospel of Christ can change the hearts and minds. ( and I pray that God will open that door for them).
I'm not proposing an answer to complicated situations .. just saying that when Israel's enemies (and the world's)
"turn their swords against each other" ... why jump in the middle (it has cost us a Trillion $$ already)
when IT WILL NOT HELP ISRAEL (or us)??
Everyone knows 'you never get between two fighting dogs'
(how much more so when they both hate you .. and are both planning on going after your family (Israel).
