I just had a dream n in it there was a Japanese woman (dressed kimono sitting on legs) singing a Japanese lament song with great emotion...With tears. Somehow I knew it was an old song... Like one passed down from elders. She herself was middle aged, but as she sang her heart was going out to the elderly in the room n you could see them mouthing the song too. Anyhow, the phrase I heard over n over was: 'Mushanaa' (I added to two A's on the end because it went long and fluctuated.
After I woke up... Instead of hearing 'Mushanaa' I was hearing cat Stevens song, 'moonshadow", lol...Which I guess cud sound like a very slurred Mushanaa, lol. (Stevens called 'moonshadow'the "Optimist's anthem."...If I ever lose...I won't have to '-' no more)
I have heard the cries of Japan in the past..So was thinking it was along these lines, unless I picked up some junk from an art exhibit last night...But nothing there was Japanese...So? Do you have any ideas translation-wise that might help me figure out what kind of dream this may be?

Well.... I tried to see what I could dig up that sounds like mushanaa. But I'm sorry to say, I'm coming up with nothing. The closest I could find, however, was mushaana(Musharna), which is the name of a pocket monster. haha Interestingly enough, this pocket monster is categorized as "yume-utsutsu". Yume means dream and utsutsu means reality or consciousness. So yume-utsutsu is translated: 'half asleep and half awake' or 'trance' or 'dream and reality'. One of its abilities is to forewarn.

I had been trying to do a phonetic search for Japanese, but I didn't find anything. Now you found something for sure. On this PG: www.pokepedia.fr/Mushana (translated from French) It points it to Japanese folklore creature called a baku fr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/BakuIt also says this: "Mushana is the evolution of Munna when placed in contact with a Moon Stone."....That caught my eye because of the moonshadow song when I woke up. Says the word means 'eat' 'moon'. I will be praying about this...It's getting exposed but I don't know where from. The kids know better than to smuggle pokemon stuff into the house... Perhaps inadvertent through a friend or maybe that spirit was at that gallery or in the exhibit? Very interesting...Thx so much for your input...i knew I had to ask my Japan connection!
