en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prophecy_of_the_PopesPetrus Romanus The longest and final motto reads in the original Latin: In ꝑſecutione extre- ma S.R.E. ſedebit. Petrus Romanus, qui paſcet oues in mul- tis tribulationibus: quibus tranſactis ci- uitas ſepticollis di- ruetur, & Iudex tre mẽdus iudicabit po pulum ſuum. Finis. This is usually translated into English as: "In the extreme persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit [i.e., as bishop]. Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations: and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the terrible judge will judge his people. The End." However, in the 1595 Lignum Vitae, the line In persecutione extrema S.R.E. sedebit. forms a separate sentence and paragraph of its own, and it is unclear whether it is grammatically related to Gloria Olivae which precedes it, or to Petrus Romanus, which follows it. There is a claim [67] that the original list written by St. Malachy does not contain a reference to Petrus Romanus and that the last lines were added to the printed text in Wyon's Lignum Vitæ. This, however, cannot be proved, as the original manuscript (if any) probably no longer exists.

For those of you who are going HUNH? Check out this link: www.bibleprobe.com/last10popes.htmThe prophecies were made by Saint Malachy. I saw a TV documentation of this particular pope years ago. I may mess the details up, so I won't go there. He was blessed by God with many gifts, including the gift of healing. Legend is during a construction project, a hunchback was on the job, hauling hewn stones for the walls from the stone cutters pit to be placed on the wall. As the man worked under Saint Malachy's supervision, the hunchback's back healed a little more as the day wore on, that at the end of the day, the hunchback was no more. The man was completely healed.

sheesh.... and then this headline: UK's most senior Roman Catholic cleric resigns quite an upheaval going on.... and i was disgusted yesterday as a 'kindle' ad had major gay overtone: www.passportmagazine.com/blog/archives/25017-new-amazon-kindle-commercial-adds-a-gay-twist.htmlcan you scream 'as in the days of noah' any louder?!!! *grin*.... i found this on a catholic site, and all i did was google 'prayer for holiness': Prayer for Holiness Breathe in me, O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy. Act in me, O Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy. Draw my heart, O Holy Spirit, that I love only what is holy. Strengthen me, O Holy Spirit, to defend all that is holy. Guard me so, O Holy Spirit, that I may always be holy. Amen.

A reading of the OT will show an alarming similarity between those nations about to have judgment fall upon them and us. It may be going to get a whole lot worse but at least we'll get to see it a whole lot better. I know we don't have fancy garb but we are nonetheless priests so lets tell someone the Truth this week
