ok so last week on wednessday we found a new lamb born out in the barn and its done well was out on pasture in 2 days. that was good cuz friday i came home to a pair of twin lambs. finally one actually had the twins they are known for:) they seem ok on day 2 they are in the field. and today at church my dad said he saw 2 new lambs in field. well that didnt make sense i thought he meant the ones from friday but nope sure enough after church we went out and found twins again. she must had birthed them in the field. they got stepped on or trampled out there by somebody (donkeys or other sheep). by the time we found them one was dead and the other awful weak. and the mother was freaking out and wouldnt go near the living one. so we got her in and have been trying to warm it up and i gave it some sugar water while the rest went off to buy supplies to bottle feed it. its eating a lil now but ive noticed that its hind legs arent moving or its tail. even wheni grab them and try to get them to move they are just limp. i think shes paralyzed in the hind end. im hoping not and im hoping she survives but i have no clue what to do about that. learning as i go with this whole sheep thing. sad to lose one and id really hate to lose both, but its less than 50/50 at this point considering shes been abandoned and possibly paralyzed. i guess we will see.

u kno... one thing i'd like to know someday is why when we pray over things like animals, we don't get better results than w/ people. i have better results praying over the weather than w/ animals!....i rememb. you recently mentioning praying for the rain to stop.... ya, stuff like that..., amen, me too & i feel power in declaring it..... but animals....ack somebody gain an anointing in that area and i want some!

thanks. it looks like we are gona have to put down the surviving lamb if she makes it through the night. i hate it but ya know not once does Jesus heal or raise an animal. as much as it would be nice and i wanted to pray for them there was really not any prompting. that lamb is a trooper for having a broken back. its in so much pain though ugh. i know one thing im gettin rid of those donkeys and getting some geese. the donkeys will kick the sheep for anything. i hope we learn the right lesson from it cuz lessons like this take a toll on mom and the kids, and im not exactly happy bout it.

True dat. At the same time there are 'greater works than these', so jus about anything He didn't do a? I dunno... Anything that aligns w kill steal destroy.. I fight 4 whether I feel a burden or not like claiming His promises vs "I only do what I c the Father doing"--- which that I only do w praying over people. I don't dig when it's like the animals are robbed from us tho n ya, at the same time it cud b our lack of shepherding. Lots to it for sure!

good new on the the lamb. mom took it to the vet today to have it put down and the vet gave 3 options. 1 put it down 2 spend tons of money on getting it well with a less than 50/50 chance of survival and 3 the vet offered to take the lamb for herself and do all the treatment she could as her own pet. mom went with option 3!! isnt that great!! the little lamb also moved one hind leg and its tail while at the vet. this could be a miracle in the making:)
