When the accuser starts bugging me about past sins I ALWAYS quote and FIRMLY embrace 1 John 1:9 ( written TO CHRISTIANS) who have slipped up AFTER being saved ..
Confessed sins = completely Forgiven and totally Cleansed (like a newborn baby before God)
.. End of discussion!
1 John 1:9 .. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [/I

- Sometimes I will also go on the offensive and quote scriptures that demons hate hanging around listening to.
( I've read many testimonies about stubborn demons that were finally dislodged and came out of people when scriptures about their fate were read to them .. over and over. Torments em.
Guess they can't stand the heat. {pun intended}
Mat. 25:41“Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones,into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels.[/i]
- 10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,
“Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night.
- Rev. 20: 10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and ]brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
- I'd love to hear these scriptures put into song.
It's no wonder the devil and his gang prefer to leave rather than listening to God's condeming verdict to them spoken/sung over and over .. esp when it includes being thrown alive into a burning lake of fire and being tormented "forever and ever".
