Alright so I know those who don't believe in Jesus dying for our iniquities go to hell but what about christians? I recently saw a video that made me very sad and made me think my mom and dad would one day end up in that place if I dont do something and I feel very conflicting thoughts on this subject. I've always thought of i for awhile as the elect are those who earnestly EARNESTLY seek all the ways of God and devote themselves to him living in his will and then there are others who may have not been as in the will as God wanted and they were servants in heaven. I know the prodigal son makes me feel better but some of the people in this video were christians and scripture supports this stuff but... ugh it just doesn't feel right. I know God says those who were not truly seeking him will be saved as if by fire and It feels like that disproves this video but I would just like some constructive discernment regarding this video from you guys.

k... there's this & mary k baxter testimony & in hers i was exhorted to dive more into holiness... i don't doubt that these experiences aren't real. but i can address why you might b feeling disturbed... first & foremost is the imagery used in the video... in the Word it says: Exodus 20:4 "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth..." ...and this vid is loaded w/ demonic imagery... that you can bet the artist saw w/in their spirit...though most attribute it as 'artistic inspiration', rather than what it really is: seeing into the spiritual realm. it's just not good to look at (phil. 4:8). now what's next about this... well there is a sense of 'fear'. and it's a fear of 'you're not good enough'. a mix of street preacher bible thump'in hellfire. there is a place of concern & walking out our salvation w/ fear & trembling, but our focus is not on "DON'T STEP ON ANY CRACKS OR YOU'LL BREAK JESUS' BACK". This stuff is a realllllll fiiiiiiine liiiiiiine because having Godly sorrow for sin & zeal to change is different then a fear that cripples & eats up hope. what do the scriptures say our focus need be upon? we don't need scared into heaven, but loved there. in messages that glimpse hell... keep it just that, a glimpse. there is value in perspective & you have to remember we aren't given all the nitty gritty details on the people listed... we only hear a glimpse of judgement. we don't see the justification of that judgement by seeing a life flash b4 our eyes. we'll leave that to Him. but, we can keep tabs and examine our own life and 'KNOW' where we are headed & good thing is that conforming to Christ is a witness to others just by how we live. an older vid i did about salvation & the wedding garment that gets one in the mode of self scrutiny:
