k guys...
when hubby came in and said that nelson mandela died, what stuck out to me was his age, 95. billy graham just turned that as well.... and it's like this number is jumping up here lately so i started to look it up....
• Martin Luther and the 95 Theses.... think about what this did and how 'against the grain' it was.
• I found this under a biblical number search, but oddly, they didn't cite 'why': Number 95 VOICE OF GOD .....but then I found out from the site below (from ps. 95/(Heb. 3:7-11)
• "Psalm 95 has long been regarded as an invitation to worship." I encourage anyone that is going 'against the grain' and having a rough time, to read this long study.... I feel it's a 'now word'

If you don't have time; here is a meaty bite:
• 95 - Hero (? dunno about that website...again.... dunno why they don't put references as to the 'why' they think it's that, LOL but doesn't seem to fit)
• from a website w/ no references (sure fits web link above): Number 90 RIGHTEOUS SIFTED
....and since '95' isn't a common one biblically noted....looking up 90 and 5 is another thing to do...
• not even a number '90' i could find in the common guides like 'the arithmetic of God', here is a generic thing i found:
The Bible's Number 90 -- What we did, how we lived and acted while waiting for the Lord's Return
Related to our acts or service as we await the Lord's return. Referring to Godly saints seeking a full blessing or our sinful actions we slide back into as we await the Lord's return. The 9th step of the Redemption Pattern is that of obedient servants (#8) persevering in service while watching and waiting for Jesus return.
• Abraham was 100 years old and Sarah was 90 years old when Isaac was born.
• The Virgin Mary remained 90 days with Elisabeth for the birth of John the Baptist.
• The number 90 is used 5 times in the Bible.
• In 90 places in the NT all the prayers and all the thanksgivings are addressed to the Father. The words crime, sick, Holy Spirit and the verb to punish are used 90 times in the Bible.
• Five: Grace; atonement; fivefold ministry; service (five fingers on the hand); bondage; complete wellness. (Is. 1: 12-14; Matt. 25: 2; Eph. 4: 11; Mark 6: 38-40; Luke 9: 13-
16; Gen. 1: 20-23)
okay.... i'm exhausted in this one but feel free to add if anything is grabbing you, but regardless, we shall WoRsHiP and praise in every refinement in Him who is our provider of all things!

If you don't have time; here is a meaty bite:
"Psalm 95 teaches us that worship is not incidental; it is fundamental. It is not peripheral, but primary. We should worship God because He is worthy of it. We should worship God because He desires it (John 4:23-24). We should worship because God commands it (Ps. 95:1-7). We should worship God because to fail to worship hardens our hearts, leads to dissatisfaction and disobedience and ultimately to discipline."
