Folks, God wants to train you…
God wants us to begin to step out in our giftings.
The fact of the matter is, is that EVERYONE is God-appointed… EVERYONE, has a talent of the kingdom to multiply, and the IronSmiths forum can help you walk it out!
Afterall... this forum IS called 'The Ironsmiths' and I believe I mention something about iron-sharpening-iron, LOL.
If I wanted only good vibes and a potluck I could go sit in a 'church', right? No, I want to be of use and and see biblical promises manifested in the natural to a Supernatural degree! I want to 'hang' with people that want the same thing...because we all know that what we surround ourselves with 'rubs off' onto us!
So do you know your giftings? Are you stepping out to exercise them?
We grow by stepping out-- we step out because we recognize who He's made us to be.
Have you ever 'gotten real' with the question of: "What are my giftings? What am I here for?"
I find a simple gifting test, a very valuable mirror you can place in front of yourself so you can see your talents and then as HE puts you in situations and places, you will see that as an opportunity to step out, exercise and grow:

Do babes hop out the womb walking? Do they fall down? Of course.... so as we recognize our giftings, let's use this place as a ground to practice walking.... and if we fall down, instead of attacking (as the world does)...we pick up eachother and say, 'Keep going.... try it again.... we support you'.
In the Gifted2Serve definition inventory (I will let you go there and look them up), I look at all these amazing giftings and think of how God could stretch people even in a little forum. I'll post some ideas beside them (below)... and know this is real "How you can help", here at IronSmiths, so contact a Mod, Administration or email: TheIronSmiths@gmail.com, and inquire how you can add some fuel to the fire while exercising your spiritual muscles.
1. Administration - structure/effectiveness - "Hey, this part of the forum needs reworded or restructured to be most effective, I know what to do/say." Social media administration.
2. Apostle - Every Apostle has a 'bent', what is yours? You will gravitate as a 'burden' for a specific board or topic in which you could moderator over.
3. Discerning of Spirits - comment interaction - "This listed resource is good, but this one point doesn't set well with me because….", tag-team with online ministry hosts.
4. Evangelism - rallying topics that encourage it. Promotion of the IronSmith's forum as a vehicle for ministry.
5. Ekballism (deliverance) - "I would like to host a deliverance session for board members", posting resources
6. Exhortation - posting to the 'The Daily Brew', track down prayer request posters and show them their personal timecode so they can know we really did pray for them.'… essentially checking up on people, multiplying praise reports, do a recorded prayer session
7. Faith - encourage people in the prayer section, host a prayer session, sharing testimonials
8. Giving - 'Hey I've got a book I've finished, I'll send it to whoever wants it next', giving of little shares in the 'The Daily Brew'
9. Healing - Hosting Live or recorded Prayer
10. Helps - Timecoding prayer sessions, creating impactful snippets from Live or Recorded Prayer sessions
11. Hospitality - send a 'welcome note' every time you see a new person has joined the forum, checking up on people that have asked for prayer.
12. Intercession - Hosting Live or recorded Prayer or devotion to look thru the prayer requests and pray each day.
13. Interpretation of Tongues - from Live/Recorded Prayer sessions....share what you hear.
14. Knowledge - share what you hear, if it's Live/Recorded Prayer or add depth to existing posts.
15. Mercy - hurting people need your compassion.... I can't tell you how many times people say 'I've went everywhere and people give up on me.' You can step out and give them warm welcome, check up on them to see how they are doing, then exhortation and other giftings can continue on with the seed you planted
16. Leadership - 'I am seeing a trend, and if we do this, we can reach these... I have a plan on how to do it.' Managing social media.
17. Miracles - Hosting Live or Recorded Prayer
18. Missionary - Hosting Live Prayer at a targeted time zone and advertising to the people group you are trying to reach.
19. Prophecy - Posting to 'World News', For the Body/For the Nations, etc…..a wonderful gift welcomed everywhere, hosting prayer
20. Service - Social media organization and promotion (*We currently need playlist creation of older programs for the I.S. youtube page)
21. Shepherd - moderator, checking up on people, counseling posts, teaching posts.
22. Teaching - Post teaching articles, expanding edu on posts.
23. Tongues - Live/Recorded Prayer, or privately as you intercede for the prayer requests.
24. Voluntary Poverty - alerting the group of worthy causes, see also 'Giving'
25. Wisdom - A gifting welcomed everywhere here on the forum… don't be shy…. STEP OUT
.... and we know there are more gifts than these... are you an artist....are you a musician? Make yourself known and let's see where you can grow.

So I encourage you all to get real with your giftings and make real-use of this place in exercising and stretching yourself. Please don't see this as 'my ministry' thing... take ownership and look at this place as one organism, one body. Ask yourself how can I feed, protect, nurture, grow, love etc....the body here? Know that you have something to offer that I cannot... I was not made to do what you can do. We are each uniquely crafted and tailored for His glory... who out there believes this? Who out there is ready to roll up your sleeves and say, "I'm ready for 'excellence', Lord...let's GO!,?"
Things don't stay babies... they grow up and have families and I just want to support other mature believers in their giftings, revelations, and all the wonderful-ness you all have in mentoring the body of Christ! May your time here be blessed and empowering for wherever He will lead you… May you grow in confidence and boldness in service to Jesus. I can't wait to grow from sharpening iron with you!
